GG Media brought the community together with an exciting Back to School event at Oshawa Centre, designed to kick off the season with fun, creativity, and prizes. Kids explored interactive lockers filled with surprises and had the chance to win prizes from popular mall retailers. Families enjoyed a hands-on craft station where children could design their own back-to-school backpacks, while younger kids played and created their own custom toys. The event blended entertainment, creativity, and community spirit, making the return to school a memorable experience for all.

Guests were welcomed by the mouthwatering aroma of open-flame grilling, showcasing the art of asado — a time-honored culinary tradition rooted in fire, flavor, and community. From sizzling meats to authentic tapas and regional specialties, the festival offered a true taste of Spain. Beyond the food, the festival came alive with dynamic cultural performances, including flamenco dancing, live music, and colorful displays of traditional Spanish dress. The rhythm of Spanish guitars and the energy of dancers created an immersive experience that transported guests straight to the streets of Seville and beyond.

The Easter Egg Hunt was a highlight for kids, while families captured special moments at our themed photo booths. An annual city-wide celebration hosted by Celebrate Toronto in collaboration with Toronto City Hall, marking Toronto’s 191st anniversary. The event brought together over 30 local food vendors, small businesses, and thousands of residents in a vibrant display of community spirit. The lineup featured live performances from the Evan Porter Group, DJ Mike Don’t, and FLIPSIDE, a well-known DJ who frequently collaborates with deadmau5. The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks show, lighting up the downtown skyline in a grand finale.
